Our mission
Remote destinations draw travelers precisely because they're disconnected from city life — but that same distance turns a routine medical concern into a stressful, uncoordinated scramble. TourMed Foundation exists to make sure that a headache, a sprained ankle, or a serious emergency is met with the same calm, coordinated response whether you're five minutes or fifty kilometers from a hospital.
How the Yelagiri Hills pilot started
In early 2026, TourMed Foundation partnered with three hotels in Yelagiri Hills, Tamil Nadu to pilot a connected emergency response network — a shared on-call doctor roster, standardized medical kits, and a single system every hotel coordinator could use the moment a guest needed help. Six months later, the network has grown to 8 partner hotels and served 1004+ tourists.
